First Aid at Work                        Prices

The suite of First Aid at Work courses cover the syllabus and requirements of the Health and Safety at Work act 1974.  What you need depends on the risk assessment for your workplace and we can help with compliance.

First Aid at Work inc. AED 3 days       

Although the HSE have now deregulated First Aid at Work, The Seaways 3 day First Aid at Work course retains all the quality and independent assessment of the original course.  If you need First Aid at Work, you can be assured that this course is of the same quality and standards as before.  An important part of the new First Aid requirements for the work place is the risk assessment which guides your First Aid needs.  We can help you through this process. Our First Aid at Work course includes CPR & AED, but If your work is diving, we include oxygen administration as standard.

Candidates will complete the full First Aid at Work Syllabus and the AED & O2 therapy modules,
Managing Incidents, Basic Life Support + AED, O2 Administration
Casualty Examination, Unconsciousness
Control of Bleeding, Fractures, Burns and Scalds, Eye Injuries
Common Illnesses

Heart Problems, Regulations, Recording, First Aid kits

Emergency First Aid at Work -  1 day      Prices

This course emphasis can be adapted depending on the requirements of the employer or their staff - it is ideal for the small business. There is no final examination on this course, candidates will be continually assessed throughout the course.

First Aid at Work Revalidation - 2 Days

You need to renew your First Aid at Work qualification very 3 years.  This can be done anytime within the period running from 3 months prior to your 'end date' or 1 month afterwards.  Call us to make sure we arrange your course in a time to suit you.


This is a stand alone CPR and AED (defibrillator) course that typically takes 2.5 to 3 hours to complete. It encompasses CPR and AED training for adults with the option to include training for infants and children.

Emergency First Response Primary Care Course

This teaches you to respond to life-threatening emergencies and gives you confidence in your ability to provide care when emergency situations arise. Some of the skills you'll learn include scene safety assessment, communicable disease protection, CPR, obstructed airway, serious bleeding, shock and spinal injury management.  Optional recommended skills are AED training and emergency oxygen administration.

Emergency First Response Secondary Care (First Aid) Course

EFR Secondary Care (First Aid) covers injuries of illnesses that are not immediately life-threatening. In ths course you will learn injury assessment, illness assessment and bandaging.

Care for Children

The EFR Care for Children course is an innovative CPR, AED and first aid course that teaches you how to care for injured or ill infants and children.  You'll learn the types of medical emergencies children face and how they differ from adult conditions  The course also addresses the emotional aspects of caring for children, secondary care for children and preventing common injuries and illnesses in children.
